Job Title: Associate Video Producer, Airborne Entertainment
Department: Production

POSITION SUMMARY
This position involves working with video content originating from either traditional film, television or web video to be transitioned to a wireless or mobile video product.
The Associate Producer will also be instrumental in assisting the Video Producer in production and coordination of all video projects. He or she will also be responsible for editing and packaging video assets from large brands, as well as original content, to a wireless ready format.

The Associate Producer will maintain and operate video equipment, edit select footage with the guidance of the Video Producer, and stay up-to-date with all new technological advances. This Associate Video Producer will work closely with both Video Producer and Video Product Manager but report to the Video Producer. He or she will ensure the product being created is in accordance with regional, carrier and partner audio requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Video Producer in all video related projects that include production, coordination, working in the studio, and working with third party producers
- Edit and package digital video to web and wireless specifications
- Encode video to multiple formats for digital and wireless distribution
- Creates show motion graphics packages using Photoshop, Aftereffects, Illustrator etc.
- Digitize footage
- Pitch and develop video content ideas
- Assemble edits
- Support for producer and department head
- Basic knowledge of color correction, compression, transcoding to alternate formats, sound mixing, and titling.
- Shooting video on-location/working with talent

Requirements
- 1-3 years production and production coordination experience or equivalent
- Superior organizational skills and able to multi-task and prioritize projects. Our production environment involves innumerable assets that must be properly handled and managed
- Extensive working knowledge of Final Cut Pro editing systems, and familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Avid a plus
- Knowledge of digital video encoding formats and standards
- Knowledge of Internet and wireless/mobile video industry trends and practices a plus
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Must be hard working and able to work very well within a small team
- Computer proficient on both Mac and PC platforms
- Sincere interest in video production and our content
- Critical familiarity with online video, the Internet, and pop culture
- Creative, with a good eye for composition
- Able to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment

Responsibilities breakdown:
Task vs. % Time
-Assist and aid in all coordination of video productions with the Video Producer. Ensure file formats are managed accurately and appropriately. Work with the Video Producer to ensure all copyrights, rights clearances, dbase uploads and carrier configurations are maintained. 50%
-Handle day-to-day, editing, production, and post-production tasks for video projects, either directly or through 3rd party vendor management. 50%
