MFG NEWS / NOUVELLES DU MFGREEL DIVERSITY The National Film Board is putting the call out to new filmmaking talent with REEL DIVERSITY, a national competition for emerging filmmakers of colour, providing three promising directors the chance to direct their own documentary with the NFB, to be broadcast nationally on CBC Newsworld: The Lens. Following last year's revamped competition process, up to 15 semi-finalists will be short-listed to develop their proposals and as many as eight finalists will be selected to attend a 3-day intensive training session.
